Food Matters: Taking What You Eat Seriously
Since the beginning of 2011, I have started to take a good hard look at the food I eat. Always a healthy
eater, I wonder if my food habits have played a role in my good health. Now surely there are many factors
involved, but I would like to think that taking a proactive stance as paid off.
Here are some of the books that I have read - and I encourage you to do so as well.

If you only read one book, read this one. As I wrote in my review, John Robbin's book
may change the way you think about food and farming forever.
Without getting preachy, No Happy Cows talks about the perils of factoring farming and the
long term impact on our health and our planet. And while he is a vegetarian, he promotes
what he calls a reasonable, "plant strong" diet giving your the final decision as to whether
you want to include meat, dairy, eggs and other non-vegan items.
Eating healthy is a choice we all need to make. This book will help you sort out facts
from fiction.
